Every character is given one Chai pot “pateela” card: that is the vessel that contains your chai.
Each pot is 1000 mL and you can increase or decrease the level of chai by moving the slider up and down.
Your pot overflows after reaching 1000 mL, so stay vigilant!
At the beginning of the game, your chai level starts at 300 mL and through action cards played by yourself or others, will increase and decrease (But can never fall below 100 mL!)
You lose when your pot overflows after reaching 1000 mL.

Start playing
At the beginning of the game, everyone’s chai level should be set at 300 mL.
The game starts with the deck of action cards being distributed between everyone equally.
The dealer begins and the turns go clockwise.
Every time a new round starts, everyone must add 100 mL to their current level.
[Example: ‘A’ is the first person who started the game, after everyone else’s turn when it is ‘A’s turn again, everyone must add 100mL to their pot. ‘B’ went from 500mL to 600ml, ‘A’ went from 700mL to 800mL, ‘C’ went from 1000mL to 1100mL: thus spilling and getting eliminated]
Your turn
During your turn, you can only throw 1 card. You have 3 options-
1) Sabotage: Throw an ‘increase level’ card and increase the next person’s chai level.
(This attack only lasts one round and only affects the player whose turn is after yours. Use these to get your opponents closer to overflowing.)
2) Defend: Throw a ‘decrease level’ card and decrease your own chai level. Use these to keep your chai away from the spill point. The decrease card only affects the player who threw it. Use these to stay away from the spill point.
3)Masala cards(Immunity, skip, chance): Can be used to either attack or defend. The scope of each card is varied- immunity is used to defend yourself against an ‘increase’ sabotage, skip is used to attack another player, and chance is for 50/50 gambles.
The effect of all of these cards are immediate, and only last one round. If players run out of cards while playing, take the discarded card pile, shuffle, and distribute equally amongst players.
Ending the game
Players get eliminated when their pot overflows, ie: reaches 1100 mL (with 1000 mL being the limit). The game goes on till only one person is left.
